I thought for this weeks discussion we would continue talking about our Twits project. You have been making some excellent progress, and it is almost time to begin filming. Your projects all sound very interesting, and I can't wait to see the final results when we all sit down and eat some spaghetti and watch your films.
Your assignment this week is to write about the part of your movie you are most looking forward to filming, and the part of your movie you think will be the most challenging to film. Please include your reasons as to why it is your favorite part and why it is your most challenging. Finally, write about what you hope the rest of the class learns from watching your film. Are you going to persuade, entertain, or inform? Maybe you will do a combination of those? Let us know on the blog.

The thing in my movie I am most excited about is when we get to film it and when we all get to watch it while eating spaggetti!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am most excited about the filming in the TWITS project, because we get to do all these crazy skits and show what not to do to your husband or wife. I also am looking forward to getting the project done and get to watch our play and eat spagetii. I hope everyone will like our video
ReplyDeleteI am most looking forward to smashing a pie in Mrs. twits face, I think the most challenging part will be to make the background look like a haunted house because it takes place on Halloween. We are trying to inform about how mean the twits are, and entertain about then stuff that we do
ReplyDeletemy movie is about trick or treating.a little girl vistes the twits' and mr.twit keeps bothers her insted of giving her a candy.so she punch mr.twit and run away. my favorite part is when the little girl punches mr.twit. because who wouldn't punch a person who is so annoying?
ReplyDeleteThe part of our movie I am most looking forward to is the skits. I think they will be very funny. The most challenging to film will be the skits. They were hard to come up with so I think they will also be hard to film. Our skit will be very entertaining and I hope the class learns about Mr. and Mrs. Twit and about how cruel they are to each other.
ReplyDeleteI am excited to do the sense where Mr. Twit ( Michael ) pies Mrs. Twit ( Me Abby). The challenging part is to film that sense because we have one chance. If we mess up we will not have another pie. I hope the class will learn what the point is of the comedy movie ( to make sure everyone knows about how Mr. and Mrs. Twit hate each other). Our comedy movie is a mix of informing people and entertaining people with all the senses and comments.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the my version of the Twits is when I slapp Joesph which is Mr.Slapper of the ship.And we are doing a commercial.I am Mrs.Slapper and Joseph is Mr.Slapper.I think I am persuading and entertaining in my version of the Twits.
ReplyDeleteI am reading about the red pyramid by Rick Riordan, in this story Carter and Sadie go to egypt to save there dad from this human shaped fire monster. Amos takes care of them for a while then Amos has to leave for a long meeting and so a goddes called Bast [the god of cats] takes Carter and Sadie and they meet tons of gods and goddes. There is also a girl named Zia who takes Carter and Sadie to safety, sort of. Zia takes Carter and Sadie to her town and the town was filled with tons of egyptain peaple, buldings, clothes, and many more stuff.
ReplyDeleteFor my twits project my part of the film that i am most looking forward to is when Mrs.Twit puts worms into Mr.Twit's spaghetti(witch is what we will be eating while we watch the video's) The part that i will think be most challenging is to find background noises for the film because we will use a lots of background noises and we don't know how to use or find the noises. I know Mr.D will teach us how to use them but it will be kind of hard trying to do it by ourselves for the first time. We might and might not be able to do the effects the 3rd or 4th time that we do it, But we will(maybe) eventually get the hang of it and know how to do it and help others if they have not or forgot how to use it. BYE BYE

ReplyDeleteOur project is about the revenge of Ms and Mr.Twit to the roly poly bird and the monkeys.The form is movie trailer the start is with the background with some music.The script were still working on it.

The part that i think will be the most challenging to film is when they show the page were she starts thinking bad thoughts and gets more ugly and more ugly and more ugly because it will be hard to film ME getting getting more ugly.We are going to entertain, and inform.

ReplyDeleteMY FAVORITE PART OF MY TWITS PROJECT IS... GETTING TO THE PART WHERE BRADLEY AND I START ARGUING ABOUT WHO YOU NEED TO PRANK, EITHER YOUR WIFE OR YOUR HUSBAND. ( THE CORRECT ANSWER IS YOUR HUSBAND.) I ALSO CANNOT WAIT TO TELL BRADLEY THAT BECAUSE HE IS SO FAT THAT HE CANNOT HAVE A PIZZA. (THAT IS NOT TRUE BRADLEY) I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT BECAUSE IT IS THE FUNNIEST PART OF THE WHOLE THING. THE MOST CHALLENGING PART WOUL BE GETTING ALL OF THE LINES CORRECT AND NOT GETTING ALL TOUNG TWISTED. THAT WOULD BE MOST CHALLENGING BECAUSE IT IS VERY HARD TO KNOW ALL OF YOUR LINES IN JUST A FEW MINUTES. ReplyDeleteHey class mates!The part I'm looking forword to in our movie "the twits" is when me and my partner get to kick open the door and I yell "sparkles". I don't have a part that I am not looking forward to because we haven't finished our movie. I hope the class learns that playing tricks isn't acceptable. We plan to inform, entertain and persuade with our movie.

ReplyDeleteI am mostly looking forward to when I come in and ask "what you are doing?" And my partner (Colby) says "Oh, nothing" and she pats me on my back, and then pretends to punch me. I like that part because when I ask my partner what she is doing she seams sort of confused at first and then she just dose not say much but, "Oh, nothing."
ReplyDeleteI think the most challenging part to film of my commercial would be when we would have to balance the flip camera on a table or something because both of us (Colby and I) are in one scene at the same time.
I hope the rest of the class learns from my film to always hate your husband.
