You guys have been doing an unbelievable job on this blog and in class. Your ideas and arguments are becoming more clear, and your use of details improves daily. In the spirit of Halloween, I thought it might be fun to take a break from our usual discussion and try something a little stranger...
This weeks assignment travels into your scary and fascinating minds...If you are celebrating Halloween, what is your costume? I WANT DETAILS. You are NOT allowed to write, for example, “I am going to dress up like a doctor, the end”. What you SHOULD do is write, “For Halloween I am going to be a doctor. My smock is white, but covered in blood from a nasty surgery gone horribly wrong. I am not wearing a mask, but instead my Mom is going to do my makeup. I want to have jet black hair and scary eyes. I will carry around a fake scalpel and call myself Dr. Death. My plan for Halloween is to go trick or treating with my brothers and sister. Dad is going to walk with us and wait on the sidewalk. He always tells us to say “thank you” to each person who's door we ring. I have a lucky pillow case that I usually carry to get all my candy, but this year I am going to have a bright orange, creepy pumpkin bucket”.

ReplyDeleteFor Halloween I am going to be Lady Gaga. My costume is black and white and goes far out in width at the waist. It has a mask that maches the short dress and a long streght white wig that goes to your lower back.I also have black lace to go over over my legs. I will wear black high heels that are very tall. I have bright red lipstick that I will also put on.

ReplyDeleteMy costume is going to be Jason Jr. I am going to wear a orange hocky jersey. I will also be wearing a Jason hocey nask and carrying a hocey stick. We will be going to a Halloween block party. Then we will go trick or treating with are Dad and I will be carrying a pillow case.
ReplyDeleteMy costume is a desert commander, my costume has very blonde or brown camoflauge with yellow just a bit and a helmet that has sensors at the end of the helmet that are black and they are round like a circle and it has lighter camofluage with the same colors that were on the suit. The costume also came with red hot goggles,well there red and they don't burn, and they cover my eyes instantly like you can't see my eyes and it also came with something to cover my mouth and it does look like you would use it for scubadiving so you can breath while your under water. And thats wat my costume looks like.
ReplyDeleteFor Halloween I 'm going to be a 80's valley girl!!!!!!!! I'm wearing a under shirt and then a black "flashdance" style shirt that says " I <3 The 80's" in rainbow colors, with a green t-shirt clip with silver sequins on it. Then
ReplyDeleteI have 2 long blue fishnet gloves with holes for my thumbs. For my hair my mom is going to put my hair up high on my head with a shiny & silky pink scrunchy. For my pants I have all different color splatter pain legging with a puffy skirt. (It kind of looks like a too-too)
The skirthas 3 layers 1 layer is pink, then purple , then red annd then pink again. On my waist linethere is a pink and red tiedye flower, with a small light pink and hot pink flower in the center and on that flower, is 6 sparkles on
each petal but the 6th 1 is in the center with 7 tiny red sparkles around it to look like another flower ontop it the hot and light pink 1 witch is on top of the big red and pink 1. Underneath the big flower is a magenta ribbon tied in a bow. But like how most bows are puffy this one is flat. I'm also going to wear 3 peace sign neclaces. They are 3 different colors. They are pink,lime green and neon yellow.I am also going to wear lime yellow neon orange and lime green bracelets, 2 of each.
And last but certainly not least, i have some cool pink glasses.
P.S. This is my favorite disgusting i mean discussion question.
For Halloween I am going to be a skin suit it is blue and cove errs my whole body.Before we trick or treat we go to the end of the street.There we eat and play.My dad hands out candy .When we are done trick or treating we get to watch a movie.
ReplyDeleteFor Halloween I am going to be a grim reaper, I will have a black mask that I can see through. I will also have a plastic scythe that is black and gray and a cloak that is black and will mach my mask.To make my voice sound weird I will use a voice changer. I will be going with John Grimes I do not know what he will be yet but I will hope to find out soon.Hopefully I will bring home lots of candy I just can't wait.
ReplyDeleteFor Halloween this year I am going to be TAYLOR SWIFT. My mom is going to curl my hair and do my makeup. In the music video Taylor has a shirt that says Junior Jewels on it so I am going to put Fourth Grade Jewels on it and I will have everybody in my class sign the shirt. I am going to wear sweat pants with it. I will go trick or Treating with my pillowcase.
ReplyDeleteFor Halloween (my birthday) I am going to be a boxer. I will have a robe and cuts and bruises. It will look like I just got out of a boxing match (I hope). I will go trick-or-treating with a creepy pumpkin bucket. My favorite parts about trick-or-treating are getting the candy and having fun at the block party on my street.

I will wear a black tank top dress with a yellow bat in the middle, a yellow belt with a bat in the middle and a black cape that connects to the dress with velcro. I will also wear a mask with black bat ears and gloves with spikes on them. I was going to wear my black "looks like leather" boots but I want to run faster so I will just wear my running shoes.
ReplyDeleteMy costume is an witch. The color of the costume is black and has cut out on hands and legs part. on this costume there is hat that comes with the costume so I can wear it with it. This costum has no broom or something for the face. Thats how my costum look like.
ReplyDeleteFor Halloween I will be a neon 80s girl. I am going to wear a bright neon blue hand-me-down skirt, a cute greenish-yellowish V-neck shirt with a hot pink tank top under it, I will also be wearing a nice lime green sparkle hat, and my hair will have highlights of neon hair spray. I will wear rainbow striped socks to match the skirt, a pair of light yellow converse shoes, and to pull everything together, I will be wearing some colorful bracelets. Oh! I forgot that I have big bright hooped earrings to match everything. That is what I will be wearing for Halloween.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be a cheer leader.I have a one of a kind REAL cheer learder costume. I got it from my cousin, Bailey. My belly will show. My skirt is white, red and blue; same with my top. I will have cherry red lip stick and a red ribbon to pull my hair up. I am going with Payton M. Her grandmother made a copy of my costume. We will be twins. Either her dad or mine will take us trick or treating and then we will go home and eat our candy mith glee.

ReplyDeleteI am going to be a a ballerina for Halloween.I am ging to wear a light pink ruffle skirt with a light pink short sleeved shirt.For make up I will wear hot pink eye shadow and blue eye shadow kinda blended on both eyes.For a neckalace it will have on the neckalace small blue roses on it .And for my lips I will wear pinkish blueish lipstick on.Oh I forgot to tell you this also i'm going to put body glitter at the end of my both eyes.For my shoes I will wear a shoe that is the color of creamy cream.And a shrimmering rhinstone tiara.I know a ballerina post to wear her ballerina shoes but this ballerina wants her feet to be comfortable during the LONG HALLOWEEN NIGHT WHILE I TRICK OR TREAT BY THE WAY MR.DICKSON HAVE A GREAT HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!

Because...my nextdoornabor is a two year old and is going to be a prinsess too named Ariel, so when I was waching her for her mother she told me she wanted me to be a prinsess too, so I said "ok. What prinsess do you want me to be?" She shouted very loud "SINDARELLA!!!!" So now that is what I am going to be for Halloween. LONG STORY!!!
ReplyDeleteThis year for Halloween I am going to be a Jedi-Burglar. I couldn't really choose between the two so I decided to do both. I will go to Academy to get a mask that covers your face except your eyes so nobody know its me. But I also want to wear a cape. Burglars dont have capes but Jedi's do. We have tons of Jedi stuff as my brother and me are Starwars fans. The cape has to be black. I will also wear a black t-shirt and black jeans. I am not sure yet what I will bring for my candy. It needs to be big because last year we had tons of candy. People in our neighborhood give nice candy like hershey kisses and m&m's and kit-kats. I love chocolate so Halloween is good! But my mom makes us put the candy in a box and I think we still have from last year. I am actually pretty sure we still have a lot. I hope Halloween will be creepy fun!

for HALLOWEEN I will be a marine from the military. My chlothes will be jungle "camo" and I will have a machine gun. My mask is a clone trooper mask that I painted green.
